Editorial Policies

1. Peer Review Policy

The Peer review policy of International Journal of Dental Science and Dentistry Research (IJDSDR) is the system used to assess the quality of a manuscript before it is published. Independent researchers in the relevant research area assess submitted manuscripts for originality, validity and significance to help editors determine whether a manuscript should be published in  IJDSDR.

The peer review process can be broadly summarized into following steps, although these steps can vary slightly between journals.

1. Submission of Research Article/ Research Paper/ Review Article/ Review Paper/ Case Report

The corresponding or submitting author submits the Manuscript to the IJDSDR.

This is usually via an online submission and editor mail id:  editor@ijdsdr.com  such as Scholar-One Manuscripts.

Occasionally, IJDSDR may accept submissions by E-mail: editor@ijdsdr.com // info@ijdsdr.com // editorijdsdr@gmail.com

Reviewers should be experts in their fields and should be able to provide an objective assessment of the manuscript.

Our policy is that reviewers should not be assigned to a Article and Case Reprot if:

1. The reviewer is based at the same institution as any of the co-authors.

2. The reviewer is based at the funding body of the Article .

3. The author has recommended the reviewer.

4. The reviewer has provided a personal (e.g. Gmail/Yahoo/Hotmail) email account and an institutional email account cannot be found after performing a basic Google search (Name, Department and Institution).

Authorship

Article should be submitted for consideration once consent is given by All contributting Authors:

The list of authors shuold include all those who can legitimately claim authorship. This is all those who:

1. Made a  substaintial contribution to the concept or design of the work or acquition analysis or interpretation of data.

2. Drafted the Article or revised it critically for important intectuall content.

3. Approve the version to  be published

Acknowledements

All Contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an Acknowledements section.

Example of those might  be Acknowledged include a person who provide purely technial help or a Deprtment chair who provide only general support.

Per  Recommendations - ICMJE Guidline for URM  It is best practice to obtain consent from non Author contributors who are Acknowledment in Your Article
